Workshop: Illumina Library Preparation and Basic Data Analysis

This workshop is tuned for grad students and postdocs with some laboratory experience willing to gain insights and full hand-on on illumina library preparation and basic data analysis

You will prepare one type of a reduced representation library (GBS, also known as ddRAD) starting from genomic DNA all the way to sequencing ready libraries. This will include, DNA normalization, digestion, adapters ligation, amplification coupled with indexing, size selection and final quality control. Simultaneously, you will receive bioinformatic training, in separated sessions, on how and what to do with the data that will come out from the sequencing of such a library set.
