Professional editing and publishing in Science

seminar at MSL 102 from 12-1pm grad and postdoc lunch at Biodiv 224 from 1-2pm

We will be joined on Monday, April 20 by Dr. Bianca Lopez for a special seminar on “Professional editing and publishing in Science.” The seminar will be at 12pm in MSL 102 and is open to all who wish to join and hear about Dr. Lopez’s perspective on publishing, and specifically publishing in Science.

Dr. Bianca Lopez is an Associate Editor at Science, where she handles papers on topics that include plant ecology, community and ecosystem ecology, conservation, environmental economics, and socio-ecological systems. 
After the talk, there will be a pizza lunch in BRC MP Room at 1pm for graduate students and postdocs to talk with Dr. Lopez about the academic editing and publishing process. Please RSVP on this sheet if you would like to attend the lunch.
