Sean Graham has been selected to receive the highest honour that the Botanical Society of America (BSA) bestows on a professional member, "Distinguished Fellow of the Botanical Society of America." Sean is one of world’s leading students of plant systematics. He has played a key role in several of the major initiatives to reconstruct the phylogeny of land plants, and his work is well known for its very high quality. He also is distinguished for his record of generous and highly effective service to the botanical community. For example, as BSA’s Director-at-Large for Publications over the past six years, he spearheaded the successful transition of the BSA journals to publication by a commercial publisher. Thus, he is very deserving of this honour.
Congratulations Sean Graham!
