BRS Phillippe Archembault: Benthic biodiversity in Canada: fewer species in the Arctic?
September 14, 2022, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
Abstract: The Canadian Arctic is often characterized by low biodiversity but is that the case? The Arctic ecosystem has long been categorized as a benthic-driven system. The presentation will look at what may happen to this ecosystem with the decrease in ice cover and increase in anthropogenic activities.
